Department of Zoology is one of the oldest dept. Where U.G. classes have started since the establishment of College i.e. since 1956 while its P.G. classes have started since 1973. There are two specialization i.e. Entomology and Fish and Fisheries. Earlier, students from far places of India like J&K, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal & Himachal Pradesh used to come here for their post graduation. These students after passing the M.Sc. from here are now serving in a number of Govt. and Pvt. job on very high position.
There are 15 seats in P.G. Department is well equipped with all necessary equipments & apparatus needed for P.G. class & research like internet, departmental library, etc.
